My name is Larissa, the owner of Raven's Wing Design. I just want to say thank you so much for visiting my site! The hand-crafted pieces you see on the site are all painstakingly and lovingly created by me. As a small business owner, I can tell you that every time I get an order it makes my day and puts a huge smile on my face! When you purchase from me you are helping me to support my family while still being able to spend so much time with my baby without having to send him to daycare. I can't thank you enough for that!

Growing up, my father had his own small business as an engraver, so I have been fascinated with metalworking ever since I was a child. I even married a bladesmith! As I grew older I ventured into the world of making jewelry. I started with wire wrapping and beading. I eventually was able to give metalsmithing a try. By doing
that I discovered my new passion! I have never done anything for work that I have loved more than this. Every time I make something new I think to myself, 'I made that??'

After moving to Alaska seven years ago, I soon discovered that the beauty surrounding us here can be a huge source of inspiration. The scenery here is breathtaking. If you look in at me at my bench on any given day you'd see that I often get lost in thought looking out the window at the beautiful view of the mountains.
